How We’re Keeping Your Children Safe at the Dentist

As a pediatric practice, our office has always been one that looks toward the future. Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, and we begin to resume regular routines, our team is ready to continue working within a system that’s designed to keep you and your loved ones safe, allowing you to enjoy peace of mind during your child’s dental appointments. Our goal is to help your life get back to normal, remaining mindful of everything that has happened over the past year, and continue to provide your children with excellent dental care.

How Our Plan Works

Our team pays close attention to the guidelines set by the CDC, the ADA, & other regulatory organizations so that we can change and evolve as needed. The next time your child comes to see us, you may notice some differences in your dental experience, but you can trust that it’s all because we strive to keep your family’s safety our top priority.

Screening

When you schedule an appointment online or over the phone, our team will ask a few additional screening questions to determine if any family members have any symptoms of Covid-19. We will follow up by asking similar questions when you and your child arrive at the office.

Hand Sanitizer

When entering our office, we ask that every patient use hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizing stations will be readily available in the waiting room and throughout our practice so everyone (including our team) can have on-demand access to sanitized hands!

Sanitized Waiting Area

We have been sanitizing our waiting area more frequently than before the pandemic. We no longer have any toys, magazines, or other hold-able items accessible that are difficult to disinfect. Eliminating them from the reception area drastically reduces the chance that the virus might accidentally be transmitted onto someone’s hands.

Lower Patient Concentration

We will continue to schedule our patients in a way that allows everyone to follow social distancing guidelines. In other words, your child won’t spend time in a crowded waiting room before your appointment! Everyone will be spaced out so that there is plenty of room and time between patients. This may reduce the options you have for scheduling appointments, but it’s’ the right decision for the community’s overall health.

We’re Here for You!

Although it may feel like a completely different world now, you can still rely on our practice to provide comfortable, effective dental care for your entire family. You can absolutely trust that we are doing everything we can to ensure everyone stays healthy and has plenty of reasons to smile. We look forward to seeing you in person again. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us either by phone or by sending us an email.
